How Tally teaches

It finds the exact step

Short checks tell apart a slip from an idea that has not clicked yet, and name the fact or step behind it.

It shows why

When the same mistake comes back, Tally stops drilling and shows the idea with pictures: fraction strips, number lines, area models, bar models.

It keeps practice calm

No streaks, no coins, no leaderboards, and no praise that is not true. A star once earned is never taken away.

Every topic is a world to explore.

Each part of grade 4 to 7 maths lives on its own planet in your child's own galaxy.

A ringed gas giant lit by its golden sun, with the galaxy's band behind it.

Questions

Is it really free?
Yes. Every lesson is free, forever. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no locked levels and no ads.
Which grades?
Grades 4 to 7. A grown-up picks the grade, and Tally works through that grade's topics, going back to the ideas underneath whenever they need another look.
Does my child need an account?
A child can start without one. Before anything about your child leaves the device, a grown-up creates an account and gives consent.
What does Tally keep about my child?
A nickname instead of a real name, a school grade, and what your child does in Tally. Never a birthday, a photo or a location. You can save a copy or delete it all from Grown-ups → Privacy.
Which devices?
iPad first, coming soon to the App Store.
Who makes Tally?
A parent who built it for their own two children. New areas of maths are looked at by an expert before children see them.

A letter

I'm a parent. I built Tally for my own two kids.

They didn't need more drills. They needed someone to notice the exact step where a fraction stopped making sense, and to show them why, with no score to beat and no ad in the corner.

So I built that, and gave it a universe worth exploring, because they love space. Every topic became a planet, and every question is checked again and again so the maths is right.

Tally is free and will stay free. No ads, no selling data, no tricks to keep children playing. I hope it helps your child the way I built it to help mine.
